A few of my small paintings were suppose to be in the Weem gallery in Pitenweem however like everything else at the minute they’re in a virtual exhibition, the link is below.
I haven’t posted anything in a while hope everyone is keeping well in these strange times.
These 2 drawings “@divyuze” and “15” have been selected for the Derwent Art Prize 2020 exhibiting in both London & Paris however postponed till next year. I was absolutely delighted to have both drawings selected however to receive the 2nd prize for “15” is amazing and is so appreciated thanks to Derwent art, Parker Harris and the judges.

These are my latest new small paintings ( on linen) almost finished. I’ve had to stop and start quite a few times and change things.. Most of the new work will be on show in The Weem Gallery, Pitenweem in April/May.
Really delighted and looking forward to being part of a group show in The Weem Gallery in the beautiful Anstruther at the end of April/May this year. I'll be in the studio working on new paintings/prints for the next few months but maybe also include a few paintings/prints I did towards the end of last year.
Recently I had a stall at the Handmade in Ayr Market in The Grain Exchange in Ayr High Street alongside some very talented artists. It’s back also in October and I’ll be back for a Christmas weekend 14th/15th December. Really liked doing this Market, hope to see you there. Please keep an eye out for info on the Handmade in Ayr Market Facebook page to see who else has a stall!
I’m very pleased to have won a wee award at the Paisley Art Institute annual exhibition this year, the Millers Art Award for my painting Harbour View! Thanks very much to everyone, it was a really lovely surprise! ❤️

I did my first craft workshop with Carol Haliday on Sunday in the Harbour Arts Centre making a simple flower hoop. It was a trial for future workshops hopefully in the not too distant future! I really enjoyed it and I liked the change from the painting workshops. Keep your eyes peeled on the workshop page for future dates. Hoping to try out different ideas and venues around Ayrshire maybe in West Kilbride, the lovely Scottish Craft Town!
